FUT SBC Solutions & Tips: Complete Squad Building Challenges

Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) are one of the best ways to earn packs, coins, and unique player cards in FUT. Completing them efficiently saves you coins and maximises your rewards.

How SBCs Work

SBCs require you to submit a squad that meets specific requirements. These can include minimum chemistry, minimum overall rating, specific leagues, nations, or clubs. Once submitted, you receive the stated reward and the submitted players are gone permanently.

Types of SBCs

**Live SBCs** Released on a schedule and available for a limited time. These often coincide with promos and offer the best rewards. Priority these over permanent SBCs.

**Foundation SBCs** Permanent challenges designed for new players. Complete these first for easy packs and coins. They require basic squads and teach you how the SBC system works.

**League SBCs** Require squads from specific league clubs. Rewards include league-specific player picks or packs. Completing all clubs in a league unlocks a premium reward.

**Marquee Matchups** Weekly SBCs based on real-world fixtures. Requirements change each week. Rewards are usually tradeable packs. Worth doing if the requirements are cheap.

**Player SBCs** Unique untradeable player cards earned by completing one or more squad submissions. Some are incredible value, others are overpriced. Ask FootballGPT whether a specific player SBC is worth completing.

Saving Coins on SBCs

**Use Untradeable Cards First** Before buying anyone, check your club for players that fit. Untradeable cards sitting in your club cost you nothing to submit.

**Build From Your Club** Open the SBC, use Squad Builder, and select "From My Club" to auto-fill. Then manually replace expensive positions with cheaper alternatives.

**Check Solution Sites** Futbin and other community sites list the cheapest solutions. Don't copy them exactly (prices fluctuate) but use them as a starting point.

**Loyalty Trick** Players gain one chemistry point after playing 10 games for your club. If you are one point short of the chemistry requirement, play 10 games with the squad first.

**Off-League Players** Sometimes using a player from a different league who shares nationality with surrounding players is cheaper than staying in-league.

Which SBCs Are Worth It?

**Worth Doing** - Foundation SBCs (free coins and packs) - Marquee Matchups (when cheap) - Player SBCs for cards you will actually use - Upgrade SBCs during TOTY and TOTS (best pack value) - Daily/weekly SBCs with good pack rewards

**Usually Not Worth It** - Expensive player SBCs for cards that will be outdated in weeks - Icon SBCs unless you genuinely want that specific icon - Any SBC where the cost exceeds the expected pack value by more than 50%

SBC Fodder

High-rated cards used specifically for submitting into SBCs are called "fodder". The cheapest 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, and 88 rated cards fluctuate in price based on SBC demand.

**When to Buy Fodder** Buy during promo pack openings when supply is high and prices are low. Stock up on 83-86 rated cards when they are at their cheapest. You will always need them eventually.

**When to Sell Fodder** Sell when a popular player SBC is released and everyone needs high-rated cards. Fodder prices can double overnight when a desirable SBC drops.
